Lost it when the old car was stolen haha bummer. Really hope MP can get those HB songs off the I Stand Alone / Handgun Bravado split for a proper release ;)

From 2000 to 2002, Mutant Pop produced and sold hand-labeled CD-R discs using screenprinted faceplates of different design. About 40 titles were released during these years in a total run of approximately 8,000 pieces. These were among the first commercial CD-Rs manufactured by any label and are today sought-after and valuable collectibles.

Mutant Pop was restarted in the spring of 2021, seeking to bring back the underappreciated CD in a world in which physical releases were being driven from the market by high production costs, slow turnaround, and the economic pressure of corporate streaming services. It did not take long for the SRCD format to be revisited, with a number of great old projects rescued from oblivion and the first new releases taken on. - T. Chandler (Sept. 2021)
